You might have seen the news on Twitter or live during the eduStyle Awards ceremony at the eduWeb Conference.

The suspense is now over and the higher ed community (more than 2,000 voters) as long as a panel of judges have chosen the best responsive websites in our industry, respectively the University of Notre Dame and Lancaster University websites

While I didn’t take part in any of the judging this year, Higher Ed Experts was sponsoring this category. It was a natural match as we have helped more than 60 professionals working in different institutions learn the techniques and overcome the challenges of this new approach through our 4-week course on Responsive Web Design for Higher Ed taught by Stewart Foss.

Anyway, congratulations to the University of Notre Dame website that won the People’s choice award.
I’ve been really impressed by this redesign since it was launched on April 1st – best April’s fool ever I guess too ;0) – and went so far as to call it the Holy Grail of higher ed website in my post back then.

ND - AFTER

Kudos to Lancaster University as well for winning the judged award for their responsive website.
