Responsive Web Design is going to be the star of the Penn State University Web Conference (#psuweb12 on Twitter) this week. I was already scheduled to speak at UB Tech also taking place this week in Las Vegas, which is the only reason I’m not attending the PSU Web conference this year.

Higher Ed Experts will be there in spirit (via its blue and orange logo) as we couldn’t pass the opportunity to support an event focusing so much on RWD in higher ed.

Higher Ed ExpertsIf you attend PSU Web Conference, spot the Higher Ed Experts logo on site, take a pic, tweet the picture using both following hashtags: #hee #psuweb12 BEFORE TUESDAY JUNE 12 at 9PM ET, you’ll get a chance to win a free pass for our 4-week online course on RWD for Higher Ed starting next Monday. We will announce the winner on Wednesday on Twitter and in my email newsletter.

At PSU Web, Ethan Marcotte (the Godfather of RWD) is scheduled to present a keynote on the RWD workflow on Tuesday and the RWD track includes a dozen of sessions.

If you cannot attend the PSU Web Conference this week, you (and your team) can still learn more about RWD by registering for next week’s Higher Ed Responsive Web Design Summit (June 19-21, 2012). The registration deadline was Friday, but I managed to add a few extra seats for the event and you can still be part of it by registering before June 15, 2012.

This 3-webinar series will feature Sara Wachter-Boettcher, one of the leading experts on responsive web content, Nick Johnson from the University of Notre Dame and Stewart Foss who teaches our 4-week online course on RWD for Higher Ed. Stewart will present the first session of the summit next Tuesday. I recorded the following excerpt during the rehearsal of this session and thought you’d like to learn more on what he will talk about at the Higher Ed Responsive Web Design Summit.
