Working with Faculty and the Web 101
Unless you’ve been living under a rock or burried in a pile of work, you’ve probably heard that Amanda Costello (@amandaesque), Web Content Strategist at the University of Minnesota, won this year’s the “best of conference” award at the heweb12 conference in Milwaukee, WI.
Amanda gave her talk,”I Don’t Have Your Ph.D. – Working with Faculty and the Web” 3 times at the conference. Yet, many of us haven’t had a chance to watch her magic.
That’s why I asked Amanda to give an encore online presentation of her session on October 31st November 7, 2012 at 1PM ET (rescheduled due to Hurricane Sandy).
This live event, produced by Higher Ed Experts, will be 100% FREE.
Places are limited so make sure you register ASAP if you want to grab a seat for your team (with an LCD projector, you can actually get all your team to watch this special Halloween event in… costumes ;0).
Why should you attend this online presentation?
Yesterday, I asked on Twitter people who attended Amanda’s presentation what they thought about it.
Here’s a selection of the replies I got:
@karinejoly @amandaesque A++++ PRESENTATION WOULD VIEW AGAIN

@karinejoly #heweb12 Re: @amandaesque Her talk could be—I don't have your expertise & you don't have mine. But we will do fun work together!
