If you read this blog, there is no doubt you know how important online videos have become in the higher ed marketing and communication mix.
With YouTube, iTunes and others, your target audiences have come to expect to be able to watch news and interesting things happening at your institution.
Anybody can now upload a video to YouTube (even from a mobile phone) or Facebook, but what does it take to create better and more viral videos? Moreover, as most universities and colleges (especially public ones) need to make sure their web content complies with the American Disability Act (ADA), what is involved in creating ADA-compliant online videos?
Those are very timely questions that the 3 higher ed experts scheduled to present at Online Videos 360 3-webinar series on September 15, 16 & 17, 2009 will address in their respective session.
As usual, I’ve scoured the higher ed community to find speakers who don’t talk the talk but have walked the walk, and I’m glad that one of the biggest names in higher ed web accessibility, Glenda Sims, from the University of Texas at Austin has accepted my invitation to present.
As a result, expect the limited seats to fill up quickly and if you’re interested register for this 3-webinar series as soon as possible at www.higheredexperts.com/onlinevideos360. Registration will close on August 26 or as soon as the available seats are gone.
“Online Videos 360” is a 3-webinar series intended to teach you how to improve your web videos to help you reach more viewers by making sure these videos are accessible to people with disabilities (and that – as a result – your institution comply with the law) but also by adopting an approach designed to increase their chances to go viral.
