There’s always something happening in NJ… (I know, most New Yorkers would disagree with this statement, but I swear: the Garden State is much more than a big long stretch of highway in the middle of a huge forest ;-)
Anyway to go to the point: a new association of higher ed web professionals is about to be created in the Garden State.
Thanks to Tryon Eggleston’s (Bloomfield College) and Stephen Schur‘s (Ramapo College of New Jersey) efforts, the first meeting of the New Jersey Higher Ed Webmasters group will take place on June 1 at the Ramapo College campus.
“We would like this new group to provide New Jersey higher education Webmaster with an opportunity to share their experiences, concerns, technology breakthrough and ideas while getting to know one another,” explain Tryon and Stephen.
The program of the first meeting scheduled on June 1st at the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center looks promising:
10 – 10:30 Registration (Coffee and Danish)
10:30 – 11 Welcome/ Overview/ Committees
11 – 11:30 Introduction of Participants

I’m not sure yet I’ll be able to attend this first meeting, but I’ll definitely do my best to be there…
