Call to Higher Ed Pros: Got Skype? Let’s talk!
May 9th, 2006 by Karine Joly
HigherEdBlogCon got some very interesting conversations started among great higher ed professionals, scattered all over the country (read: the US).
Dan Karleen, the co-founder of the online conference held last month, just had another crazy idea: keep the conversation rolling by using the latest free service from Skype, skypecast.
So, if you have an interest in new developments in our field, a headset and a Skype account (although you can always set up one for free very easily - just download the application, it might be free but it’s safe), mark your calendar this Friday at 1PM ET for Conversations Strategies.
This first virtual meeting via Skype will be the occasion to “talk about creating conversation spaces in Higher Education.”
Dan is also looking for volunteers to moderate future sessions. If you’re interested, make sure you join the conversation this Friday.
I’ll try to drop by.
