Register now for “Admissions Blogging 360,” a 3-webinar series on July 18, 25 & 31 featuring Nancy Prater (Ball State University), Ben Jones (MIT) and Sam Jackson

I knew admissions-sponsored blogging was a hot topic when I originally asked Nancy Prater and Ben Jones if they would present a webinar to share their experience and know-how.

What I didn’t know is that both would be quoted extensively in an Associated Press story written by Andrew Welsh-Huggins and published in many newspapers and other news outlets this Monday.

I’ll take that as a good sign for “Admissions Blogging 360,” a 3-webinar series presented on July 18, 25 and 31 by Nancy Prater, Ben Jones and Sam Jackson as part of Higher Ed Experts’ professional development program.

“Admissions Blogging 360” is a 3-webinar series designed to help people working in universities, colleges and schools use blogs written by current students or admissions officers to recruit prospective students (and their parents).

This 3-webinar series is priced at only $150 (a 50% discount on the regular price, offered to HEE members in 2007)

You might want to register ASAP as the seats for this series are limited. If you’re not a HEE member yet (membership is free and open to people working in higher ed institutions), you’ll need to register first at www.higheredexperts.com/register. Once/If you are a HEE member, just go to the “Admissions Blogging 360” page and follow the instructions (Payments can be made via credit cards or checks – instructions are included in the confirmation email).

If you work in a web department and have been trying to get your admissions team on board, you should forward this post to them. They might register and who knows? You could launch your first blogs this Fall…
