Classified Social Media, Really?

Social Media TOS Presentation

No, not really :-)

I know it’s Thursday – and not Tuesday, but I’ve just found a way to upload the presentation about social media terms of service I gave at the #heweb13 conference 3 days ago without causing any trouble (hopefully).

Taking a hint from classified documents, I used my dark ink pen on the file to remove any information that could help identify accounts and voila!

Since I use Slideshare, I was also able to include (slide #60) the video from the Copyright Clearance Center I played during the presentation.

It’s 6-minute long and is totally worth watching to get schooled on copyright issues in higher education.

If you want to learn more about the topic, make sure you read the posts of my regular series: Social Media TOS Tuesdays.

And, if it’s not enough, I also teach the 8-week online course on social media marketing for higher ed that covers this point as well as all the bases if you want to get serious with social media at your school.
