Want to present this summer in Boston? Submit your #highered proposal for eduWeb13 by Friday

You have exactly 5 days to come up with a great topic for a session at eduWeb 2013. The conference will take place in Boston from July 29-31, 2013, but the call for proposals will close this Friday.

This year again I’m chairing the Marketing Conference Track, and I’m looking for sessions from executives and professionals working in institutions (and only a few very good ones from vendors).

eduWeb 2013 Conference

I want to help you get your proposal accepted if you have an idea for a session related to:

  • branding
  • integrated marketing
  • content strategy at the institutional or unit level
  • digital analytics and performance measurement
  • research about target audiences (students, alums, parents, etc.)
  • marketing online programs
  • back to basics: focusing on the marketing of academic programs, degrees or certificates
  • higher ed marketing future in a disrupted context
  • marketing to prospective students and parents in a world of multiple media channels and connected devices email marketing
  • gamification of higher ed marketing
  • digital or social advertising as part of the higher ed marketing mix
  • comprehensive case studies of integrated marketing campaigns/initiatives (from strategic goals to results & lessons learned)
  • marketing success stories (strategy, campaign and results)
  • lessons learned from failed campaigns

Send me an email at karine@collegewebeditor.com by Thursday Feb 14, 2013 noon ET and I’ll give you feedback and pointers to make your proposal for the marketing track even stronger (a bit like submitting an early draft of your final paper when you were in college)

If you’ve never presented at a conference before, let me know as I want to make sure I get at least a couple of first-time presenters in my track (Ryan Catherwood took me up on my offer last year and ended up presenting at eduWeb 12). I will offer feedback and support for developing your presentation.

Don’t need any feedback? Ready to rock?
Submit your proposal to the marketing track NOW!
