This story is another good example of how Drupal is not just blogging software, but a robust platform. That's why it is sometimes called a content management "framework" because it can be customized with contributed modules to achieve specific functionality goals with your website. If you plan on a follow-up article it would be interesting to know which modules you used, and also how the different groups collaborated on the technical implementation.
