My fifth UB column for 2007 is now available in the October issue as well as online: “Demand Print or Print On Demand?”

For a reason unknown to me, the online resource box of the column is offered as a graphic file instead of the usual link list. So, here are these links for your convenience:

One of my colleagues forwarded this statistic on admissions:
“According to research by Royall and Associates into minority high school students (the only college market segment that will continue to grow over the next 10 years) these students and especially their parents prefer print.”

Certainly, the demographic of who Admissions officers are trying to reach is also important to know… .

    Great point, Jon.

I’ve done a search on Royall and Associates trying to find something about this research without avail. Do you know if they have a website?

I’ll check with the person here who sent me that info - she’s currently on new-Grandmother leave, though.
